Have you looked on the noticeboard outside the Sacristy?  When we welcome children into our Parish through Baptism, we ask each family to provide a photo and a short writeup about their family, and you can see these on the noticeboard as you come in.

The Archbishop has asked that this letter be made available to all parishioners in the Archdiocese.

It is a public acknowledgement of the suffering and hurt that has affected many people through the betrayal of sexual abuse by some priests and religious.

“I express my deep sorrow and offer a sincere and unreserved apology to all those victims who have suffered the pain and humiliation of sexual abuse and to their families.”
Archbishop Denis Hart.

The full letter, and an accompanying video, are available on the Archdiocese website – read the full letter
