TWO JOURNEYS, ONE DESTINATION
The Parish of St Richard’s and the Parish of St Peter Julian’s have travelled different, but similar paths. Now the paths have met we can discover more about each other’s journey. Hopefully, as we get to know each other better, we can share not only our stories, but the next part of the journey. I have been asked to record the stories from both parishes, and working with you, enable the history of each to be told. This may be in the Julian’s Journal, published as a major commemoration, or as small articles published regularly in the Bulletin.
I now need to hear your stories and your ideas; any help will be gratefully accepted. If you have any anecdotes, history, early memories of the churches or schools, memories of priests or people, please pass them on to me, Pam Delahunt, so that your contribution can be included. Items can be left at the Presbytery, or the church Sacristy, addressed to me, or I am available on 9726 0454.
