SVDP Blanket Appeal
Around this time each year St. Vincent de Paul Society conduct their Winter Blanket Appeal. Donations of blankets, doonas, etc., can be left at the Vinnie’s Shops in Croydon and Lilydale or in the Church Foyer on the weekend and our Conference members will arrange to deliver them to the needy. A good time to remember all of those homeless people sleeping out in the weather with nothing to keep them warm.
Another BIG thankyou goes out to the students of St. Peter Julian’s Primary School for their big cash donation to the Conference to help us in our purchase of food and other items for the needy of the Mooroolbark, Kilsyth and Montrose area. They raised over $3,500!!! Fantastic effort and thank you all for your help.
